was born in Carthage, TX and grew up on the Rusk/Panola County line. I always had cattle growing up so I have a cattle operation of my own. Included in the cattle operation are two hens, two horses, a Blue Crown Conuer (bird), two cats, three dogs and a sundry of other creatures. My radio life began in Henderson, TX in 1994 during a moment of indecision about what I was going to do when I grew up.
Favorite TV Shows: The Andy Griffith Show, and anything on RFD TV
Favorite Movies: Lonesome Dove, Dead Man’s Walk
Favorite Music: Classic Country, Bluegrass, Classic Rock (Anything with compelling lyrics and soulful delivery)
Hobbies: Playing Guitar & Bass, Target Shooting, Fishing and Hunting
Things I’ve Learned:
-The Cows always get out at the most inconvenient times.
-Hens can lay eggs without a rooster in the hen house.
-A horse can be alone on a million acres of perfectly groom landscape and find someway to injure itself.
-The best way to encourage someone to help themselves is to let them.
-There’s no such a thing as too large a cat litter box.
